Getting oriented

Where do I start?

Read Getting started, then open Study. Declare units, tag Support + Load, run Draft first.

What is Study vs Additive?

  • Study — FEA and topology (SIMP) on your part.
  • Additive Manufacturing — Enterprise lattice / TPMS fill in a separate workspace (/additive/).

How do your tools map to Fusion / Inspire / nTop?

Support ≈ Fixed; Load ≈ Force; Preserve ≈ Non-design; Obstacle ≈ Keep-out; Lighten this part ≈ carve your CAD; Design in a box ≈ grow a shape in free space. Full map: Guides hub.

Geometry & runs

STEP or STL?

Prefer STEP for CAD face tagging. STL uses mesh paint — see Geometry & units.

Why must I tag Support and Load?

The problem is otherwise under-constrained. Same rule as Fusion Pre-check and SimScale’s required BC tree. Details: Supports & loads.

Why did my result look wrong?

Usually units, load magnitude, or missing fixtures — not “the mesh algorithm failed.” Work the good results checklist.

Where do finished jobs go?

Dashboard — status, downloads, reopen, Additive handoff when your plan allows.

Credits & plans

How do credits work?

Each run shows an estimate before you queue. Monthly plan credits and packs share one balance. Unused credits stay until spent.

What do plans unlock?

Free: Draft. Maker: Standard + TET10. Workshop: High. Enterprise: HEXmesh + Additive Manufacturing. Details: Subscription.

Cancel or refund?

Account & results

Are FEA results certified?

No — engineering aid only. Confirm fit, tolerances, and safety with qualified review before manufacture.

Delete account or export data?
