Additive Manufacturing
Enterprise lattices after a Study mesh.
Additive is a separate workspace (PicoGK), not a Study toggle — and it is coming soon: in final testing now, with finished Study meshes handing off straight into the fill when it opens.
When to use it
After a Study mesh (or with your own watertight volume), open Additive Manufacturing to fill the solid with internal structure: beam lattice, shell+lattice, or TPMS (gyroid / diamond).
Requires an Enterprise plan — Subscription.
Inputs that matter
- Closed volume (Study result STL or uploaded solid).
- Recipe + cell / beam / wall parameters — credits include geometry ops.
- Preview Cutaway shell — pick section face X / Y / Z and drag the slider to scrub cross-sections through the part.
- Printability (min thickness, overhangs) is still your responsibility in the slicer even when the kernel generates lattice.
Handoff
From a succeeded Study on the Dashboard, use Open in Additive when available. Geometry worker downtime surfaces as a runtime gap notice — Study FEA still works if the lattice worker is offline.
